Q: What makes your courses different from other translation courses?
A: My courses are designed to give you the practical skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a translator in the real world. I teach you how to translate a variety of content types, including legal, financial, marketing, IT, and technical documents. I also teach you how to use translation tools and resources effectively. For each assignment, I will provide you with a suggested translation to give you the opportunity to review your work and see where you can improve. I will also provide you with regular feedback, so that you can track your progress and make sure that you are on the right track.

Q: How do I know if I'm ready for your courses?
A: My courses are designed for students who have a good foundation in the English and target language(s) they want to translate. If you are not sure if you are ready, I offer a free consultation to assess your level and discuss your goals.

Q: Do you offer any one-on-one tutoring?
A: Yes, I offer one-on-one tutoring for students who need additional help. I can tailor my lessons to your individual needs and goals. I can also correct any in-between project assignments, before the final assignment for certification, for an extra cost (at a standard review rate of €0.06/word).

Q: What are your tuition rates?
A: My tuition rates are very competitive, ranging from €150 to €500. This is significantly less than the cost of learning financial translation at a traditional university or language school, which can range from €3,000 to €40,000.

Q: What if I don't want to study finance but law or corporate translation?
A: Studying finance will help you excel in legal and corporate translation, as it will give you a deep understanding of the financial concepts and terminology that are used in these fields. However, I can also arrange my course according to your specific needs and interests. Please contact me to discuss your goals and I will be happy to create a custom course plan for you.
